The paper analyzes the characteristics of oscillations of a physical pendulum. It is shown how the oscillation time depends on the angle. The relative change in the period of the pendulum as a function of the maximum deflection angle has been studied. The relationship between the angle of deflection of the pendulum and the moment of inertia is shown. An illustration is given of the dependence of the relative deviation of the period of oscillations on the period of oscillations in the approximation of small amplitudes.
