STUDENTS’ INTERESTS AS A BASIS FOR THE SELECTION OF ADDITIONAL RESOURCES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

This article analyzes the possibility of using additional sources of information in the process of teaching a foreign language in addition to the educational materials declared by the program, according to students’ interests and hobbies. Attention is paid to modern media resources, social networks and popular sites as sources for the development of didactic material. The article also discusses such concepts as microteaching, emerging language, textploitation. The paper also examines advantages and disadvantages of this method.
