THE PROCESS OF TEACHING GEOGRAPHY AS A WAY OF FORMING THE CIVIC IDENTITY OF STUDENTS

Patriotic education of students is currently one of the priorities in modern Russian education. This article is devoted to the peculiarities of the formation of the civic identity of students in geography classes. The main ways of forming students' civic identity in the framework of studying the social and economic geography of the world are considered.
