MAIN DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVING STATE SUPPORT FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESS IN THE VORONEZH REGION

The article provides an analysis of the main directions for improving state support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Voronezh region. An attempt was made to assess the goals, key tasks, priority areas of state support for SMEs in several regions of the Russian Federation. The decision of the government of the Moscow region, the city of St. Petersburg and the Republic of Tatarstan were used as information material. The obtained assessment of the state and dynamics of development of directions for improving state support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Voronezh region and the given characteristics of the existing system of state support for it in the region made it possible to draw some conclusions and list the problems in the field of small and medium-sized businesses in the Voronezh region and suggested areas for their improvement.
