The article analyzes the characteristics of oscillations of the harmonic oscillator under the action of non-periodic force. The differential equation of oscillations and its solution are shown. The condition of the absence of resonance in the mechanical system is demonstrated. The coordinate dependencies on time are given, subject to the influence of an external force. The dependence of the coordinate on time is shown, if a force acts, which represents the sum of several harmonic oscillations with different frequencies.
