REMOTE WORK AS A WAY TO MITIGATE THE PROBLEM OF YOUTH EMPLOYMENT

The article considers the problems of employment of graduates of vocational educational institutions and argues that remote work is an effective tool for improving the efficiency of their employment. The author describes the main advantages of remote employment. Based on the analysis of statistical data, it is concluded that in the Voronezh region such employment is more focused on the youth segment. However, there are still not enough vacancies with remote jobs in the region. The largest share of them is represented in the field of IT technologies and sales. At the same time, employers are ready to accept a young specialist without work experience or with little work experience on the terms of remote employment, while his salary will not differ from the remuneration of employees working in the office. According to the author, the expansion of the practice of using remote workplaces will ensure the implementation of the principles of decent work by minimizing barriers to entry of young people into the labor market.
