The estimation of the fluctuating asymmetry level of plant and animal objects in the area adjacent to the Pavlovsk mining and processing plant has been provided. The level of fluctuating asymmetry of morphological characteristics in the pond frog, inhabiting in the three reservoirs, situated in the granite mining area can be considered as an appropriate rate. In birch growing on the edge of the quarry for the extraction of the grant, the level of fluctuating asymmetry corresponds to the critical state, elsewhere there are significant deviations from the norm. It demonstrated that certain chemicals can either increase or decrease the level of asymmetry indicators birch leaf plate.
