Diversity and evolution of conceptual approaches to corporate knowledge management

The knowledge management system despite the fact that its origin dates back to the 1950-60s, has undergone a long path of evolutionary transformations in its development. The article examines the practical application of this concept that has formed to date. In particular, the composition of the stages of the knowledge management cycle was studied and the nonlinear nature of the relationships between them was revealed. These stages were consolidated into three groups of operations: the entry of knowledge into the organization, its movement within it, and economic use. A number of theoretical models of knowledge management were studied that had the greatest impact on the practical work of modern companies in this area. A conclusion was made about the transition of the most advanced organizations in the field of knowledge management to the third evolutionary stage of development of the practice of this type of activity.
